Transtech began in Pittsburgh in the 1950's. For 25 years it was known as Ringsdorff Corporation, and became part of the Fandstan Group in 1995. Transtech Manufactures conductor rail and current collection equipment for rail, transit and industrial applications, and brushholders for high horsepower DC motors.
